Looks like HSBC US is the easiest way to go if we want some address verification of US credit cards then. The HSBC branch told me to have more activity on the AU Everyday Global Account in terms of money going in so I will wait a few months before going in branch again to skip the 6 month wait...

Looks like there is Qantas, Avios, Emirates, Accor etc now. They might have recently expanded and its pretty good. No Krisflyer or Asia Miles though like in the AU market

With HSBC Premier US, might as well go for one of their CCs as well like the Premier with the 50k offer they have. Is it relatively easy to get approved for the Premier CC once there?

Okay, I will definitely assess HSBC as an option, walking to the Sydney branches shouldn't be too bad. The minimum requirement is 9000 in, so it appears I can transfer in and out and play it that way. Might be warned if I don't do that at least once a month though, but we will see

As expected, it looks like the using the US Amex statement for the physical address validation did not work out for the CSP application. I will eventually need another US bank account apart from Wise. Looks like a venture to the US is calling if I really want one - it looks like opening one is...

I suppose that you could use Experiences sites like Klook, Viator or Pelago and pay in USD to do stuff here, noting that the exchange rate might not be great. YMMV

Called back on the CSP application on the recon line and they wanted DOB validation and proof of physical address. AU Passport seemed to be acceptable, just not sure of the physical address validation as the US Amex statement was the only one that I have. Here's hoping...

It was digital gift cards and it was named that way in the points activity. Took about 1-2 days after the transaction for the number to update from 2 to 3 in the app notification.

Got a notification of 3 categories and it just got updated. So it looks like, - Marriott Bonvoy transfers count - Qantas Marketplace Digital Gift cards count - Everyday Rewards is still under the dining category.

Got the CSP application is being reviewed notification from Chase. No certain time frame (7-10 days is sometimes what people get). Should I wait for a few days then call them back?

Got new offers here as well but 10x on 3 specific items. It was after I decided to use my card after a few years so maybe some activity is required before getting some offers showing up.

In terms of BP rewards to get car based SCs, it seems like bonus offers aren't as present in recent months. Even early this year they pushed it hard. Fingers crossed I guess

Do the T and Cs state that it has to be the date when the transfer is made or is it when it gets posted to Qantas? Perhaps in terms of the SCs, it could be after registration
