    Qantas' New A321XLR

Qantas have more A220s than A321XLRs on order and both order books still fall short of the 737 fleet numbers, for now ;). There are a lot of A220s coming onto the market secondhand (aka midlife as QF likes to call it) at present.

    Qantas' New A321XLR

Long term this aircraft is not intended to be a domestic bird, they have the A220 for that. This aircraft is intended for long range lower capacity ops on international legs. AY seem to have got the config right on this same aircraft, qantas went with the silly sollys budget options which says...

Digital Drivers Licence - Car Rental

The car rental industry struggles with anything digital, most don’t accept credit cards on your phone for instance, given they only just said goodbye to dot matrix printers for your contract I suppose we should not be surprised.

How to maximise status on hotel programs over membership year?

Plenty of knowledge within various threads here. Both ALL and Bonvoy have ways of getting free night credit be it via paid programs such as Accor plus or the yearly 2x status credits with Bonvoy.

    Coles a day behind flybuys?

Noticed twice now that Cole’s seem to behind flybuys in terms of point balances, I normally auto transfer to Velocity but when shopping within 24 hours of the points being transferred I still get the $10 off offer in store. Said yes last week and was subsequently overdrawn by 2000 points the...

DXB business lounge, multiple entries on long layover

23hr layover would see me at least going out rather than staying airside, worst case I would be hitting the Holiday Inn which is very reasonable, doesn’t sell rooms in 3hr blocks compared to airside.

    Ask The Pilot

There are significant differences in the performance of the Dash 8 fleet with the 400 in particular, the 200-300 are similar while the 400 is almost 80 knots faster during cruise in some cases, hence the d designation. The PW150 engines provide double the hp of the previous dash 8 engines PW123s
