I wouldn't take much notice of SeatGuru. It typically has no idea what layout is being used anyway, and given no passengers have been on this layout, they wouldn't have much useful to say. There are plenty of cabin configurations I've been on recently on airlines that don't show up there.

Don't forget you have to make your TRS claim at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. If they do the form in the box method presumably this doesn't apply, but filling out the form does take extra time.
