No. Because I retained in my current membership year (ending March 2023) I get that status for the remainder of this year and next, as normal. There is no extension being handed out by Qantas, as in this case I am ineligible for an extension as I continued flying.

Not me. March 2023 renewal, I got "because you flew with us and retained" no extension for you. Like in 2020. However, I should be eligible for 500 credits rollover in April 2023
