That's the thing I had thought about. While I booked this flight, I was actually just Bronze, and a status run pushed me to Gold overnight (basically skipped silver). I tried the trick that works with Qantas (remove the number from booking and added it back), not working.

This is more a browser compatibility issue. Try it on different browsers, you may get what you want. (Mine "borked" on Chrome, and works fine on IE and my iPhone!!)

I flew EK (Book on QF code) from MEL to SIN last Fri, status credit and points appeared in my account yesterday morning. So that's less than 48 hours, in my case. I was travelling on discount economy, so that's 30 status credit plus 3000+ points.

I'm having the exactly same problem here, travelling MEL-SIN this Friday on EK with QF code booked on QF website a week before 26 Feb. And yet to have a clear answer to the baggage allowance.

Yes... By reading the link provided by @moa999 (and thanks), there should be no problem to access lounge when flying out on EK to DXB, which is a great news. But on my way back, I will transit in SIN, so looks like it not gonna work as you have to travel to DXB or AUS...
