Bringing this thread back to life. Any updates of directly being able to choose SQ metal seats on VA booked coded flight on the SQ site after the VA booking provides the SQ PNR? The VA web still does not even offer the opportunity. Just wondering if I should book via SQ rather than VA...

Once again I'm at the Crowne Plaza Changi now and yet again I just don't see what the fuss is about. As IHG Ambassador, booked a King Room. That's what I got no upgrade. Ok but even basic holiday inn tends to offer an upgrade. Sockets on walk loose. Wanted a cap of tea ..just normal...

Opp opposite really for me. I prefer ex PER VA for good so called short connections or to the likes of Fiji and maybe Samoa. Currently on SQ flight to SIN and have others booked and I feel VA should have included this so called promotion on VA flight numbered non VA metal. It's hard enough not...

I was looking at this ...however it just seems to be VA metal and VA aircraft.....so not even viable on VA flight number and different metal. Struggling to see just where to go on this for decent Status Credits....even if double without costing a fortune ex PER.

Probably some.people should not be allowed in lounges or indeed on board aeroplanes the way they treat furniture. Even when the tables get cleaned when sitting at them I notice with disappointed that no one seems to say a simple "thankyou" all being to Interested in their own self importance...

Assuming it's a SQ booked ticket and flown after Oct 25 i think it's 80 between MEL and SIN and 95 between SIN and FRA giving a total for the two one way legs in premium economy as 175..a bit more perhaps if flown before 30 sept. . 😕Happy to corrected.

Is this being discussed elsewhere? This is the VA new approach for on board purchases payment option. Not sure everything is being included and not so sure it will be value for the hard earned points? Received e mail saying this is coming by linking VA Credit card.

Interestingly I see that QF are commencing Perth to Auckland. When I'm comparing biz prices at the moment for next year it's around 400 dollars cheaper to fly with QF!!! Wonder if that will change...
