Velocity introduces Forever Gold lifetime status tier

I thought about doing the same but I think I'm just going to wait and see. It'd be nice to know but there's no urgency in knowing it right now and I reckon the counter will be added for us to see long before 1st Oct 2025.

Credit Card Offers Refreshed Amex Velocity Platinum Card Benefits & Offers

I'm curious to see what the other Velocity card offering will be, replacing the one with no annual fee (Escape I think it was called?). If you're already an AmEx customer it might be worth having just to get the extra points earn on your flights (under the new scheme) for holding a co-branded card.

Major changes to Velocity Frequent Flyer announced 17/10/24

I'm not sure how much of restraint Velocity has been on QF devaluing the program. I think Qantas' key takeaway from the Alan Joyce era was that it didn't matter how badly they treated the customers, they'd keep coming back for more.

The Velocity co-branded AmEx cards were recently pulled with a note saying that the new version of these card will be "coming soon". I reckon we'll see those new cards in the next few days along with some benefits that align with the new Velocity program.

I reckon that feature will probably come online in the next few days (hopefully). I reckon I'll be close, but not quite there yet. I'm sort of tempted to go back through my history and do the math, but that seems like a lot of work when Velocity will do that and just tell me shortly.

Major changes to Velocity Frequent Flyer announced 17/10/24

I'm wondering how corporate/government customers will react to the change. Particularly government where the air fares don't earn points, but earn status credits. Previously there wasn't any reason to pick a more expensive airfare for the points (other than deciding Restricted or Flex), now...

    Star Alliance and Aegean air

So, I just saw this thread and, strangely, I've had trouble getting TG476 to credit as well all the way back in April, but to Asiana Club. At time I posted this on Flyertalk in the Asiana forum asking for help: At the time I thought it was just some weird fault in the Asiana missing mileage...
