Don't feel too privileged in KL. If you are flying from LCCT, the lounge is the size of my lounge at home and very poor. If you are flying from KLIA, the lounge is at the satellite and I've never managed to actually catch a flight from there yet.

Huge number of complicated exclusions for pre-existing medical conditions with TID. I hate to say it, but the Amex Ultimate and Platinum Reserve Credit Cards are still best on this point.

I agree this is a terrible change. Not sure I can see the value in the card now. It's not just the "must put the trip on the card" issue for me. I have given my father a card for the travel insurance - he could put his trips on the card, but the change to the pre-existing medical conditions...

It does only cover your first two hours parking though. Parking charges are the same as elsewhere in the centre, just you don't have to pay the $15 valet fee.

You need to look at the pricing structure though. When I lived in Europe, we were only allowed economy class for short haul. My employer would always buy the cheapest flexible ticket. Business class was 20 quid more each way, so I always just upgraded my tickets using my own cash. If only QF...

When living in London I worked on a deal that took me from LHR-JFK rtn 30 times in a year in F. I think I cracked just over 10K service credits that year with other flights.

You are not missing much on the lounge that they use. It's pretty average.
