Where'd your nephew fly out of? Running one lounge makes sense if there's little to no demand. On the weekends Qantas Canberra consolidates and only opens the J lounge to all the usual suspects after the busy Saturday morning patch. Pity though, the QP is airside with a nicer view.

So much of the much publicised lounge upgrades. Amazing how other airlines can reno their lounges faster than it takes Qantas to swap out of few bits of coughpy furniture.

With all you good people out and about, have you seen or noticed any lounge upgrades in progress beyond swapping out a few thread bare, manky bits of furniture? You know, the much vaunted $100m investment?
