    Where is the "Dead horse"

They normally have tomato chutney by the DIY toasties don't they? It's close enough to tomato sauce for me, a fancy version if you will.

    Qantas Brisbane Domestic Business Lounge

The ex-cantina area today had updated signage calling it "The Bakery". Served quite a nice sausage roll, however the quiche was a little doughy. Not sure if this is a permanent change.

    NAB acquires Citibank Australia

WhosCard? I too am wondering about the annual fee, has the 'life' of the Citi card ended now that it's a MyCard?

Earn up to 110 Qantas Status Credits on the ground

Not only do I not get promo's for charge card points transfers, but they explicitly excluded it for this as well. QFF really don't want my Amex MR points.

    Qantas' New A321XLR

I genuinely think the outgoing 737 with BSI looked much nicer visually. From the curved pivot bins to the sculpted LED ceiling lights, it felt modern and spacious. I haven't been on the QF A321XLR yet, but from the photos it looks a little classic government office style with white ceiling...

    Qantas' New A321XLR

The Airspace interior isn't standard like the BSI is? Seems like a missed opportunity on Airbus' side for a standardised passenger experience.

ALL member suites at Qudos Arena

I've been three times to the suite at Qudos Bank Arena and once to the suite at Accor Stadium. I didn't think I had been that much, but then on my last visit to Qudos, the wait staff came up to me and asked how I'm always here. I actually think the food is quite high quality, but this is in...

QFF Platinum requesting release of extra Classic Reward seats?

Both QF1984 and QF1914 approved for release. Thanks again.

Flight Availability/Loadings & Upgrade Probability Help Desk

Would someone be able to help me with the loads for QF1908, QF1984 and QF1914 on the 13th November? All are CBR to BNE. Thanks in advance.

Qantas involuntary upgrades to Business Lounges

Seen this in MEL, BNE and CBR, generally weekend off peak times. I assume it happens semi regularly in SYD as well but less obvious to me as you don't need to walk past the QP to get to or from the J lounge.

Qantas Status Credits when flying Malaysia Airlines

Got all excited until I saw Z class still earns as 'Flexible Economy'.

Qantas Business Class meals & menus

QF can, but not always, does better when it's a proper wide body aircraft. I assume the galley space is limited on the 737 and isn't really suited to plating together a meal from several different boxes that QF tries to do on long haul flights. They might be better off doing the trans-tasman...

    “new” QF B737-800s

Could just be that they keep the SQ interior for a year? The key difference is one row of Y right? Not sure it makes sense to refit the interior to something different to the other refurbs when it's only a year away, but I don't run an airline.

    “new” QF B737-800s

Assuming it's the same refit that the other 737's are getting - then yes same cabin. https://www.pointhacks.com.au/news/qantas-boeing-737-major-cabin-overhaul/ https://www.executivetraveller.com/news/qantas-new-737-business-economy-seats

    “new” QF B737-800s

Are they keeping the SQ interior for a while or are they going straight to re-fit?

    Qantas starts international wifi

I didn't expect the pleasant conversation to devolve into high school level name calling, and so quickly too. 1. I did say 'could see you penalised'. 2. The regulation doesn't have an expiry. In any case it appears to be broadly worded and leaves the interpretation of 'using a mobile device'...

Dear Qantas: It’s Not Me, It’s You (A220s, Lounges, Curry, and Other Adventures)

Not in BNE. The regular security screening is currently some kind of metal shed with a single long line. Then you walk the long way to the other entrance to the lounges.

    Qantas starts international wifi

Nothing wrong with messaging from a plane if WiFi is available. However, using cellular service while in the air is in contravention of CASA rules for Using your electronic devices on flights and could see you penalised against the CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 91.170 Operation of...

    Qantas starts international wifi

It was actually 6x A380's or half the fleet. I still wonder if they fully removed the hardware or if it's there but deactivated. https://www.executivetraveller.com/qantas-scrubs-plans-for-inflight-internet...
