It’s for payment of strata levy (in NSW?!). I believe it’s a collection service offered by Macquarie Bank and rightly or wrongly find both payers (apartment owners) and payees (strata/body Corp) being ripped off by the charges

I just checked my GC account online and it is stated somewhere that the Jade membership is until 2021 YE (most likely due to pandemic extension). However, the GC Jade membership is no longer mentioned on Amex website platinum benefits page, thus no link to an online enrolment page. Not a concern...

It appears that the Golden Circle Jade membership is no longer available as a Platinum benefit - at least for existing members (with professional association membership). Checked online just now 😞

I am really not sure if the banks (or at least their credit department) are that smart BUT one possible justification of their approach is asset-rich people are never their target customers. They make money by charging interest on unpaid balance so they embrace people spending on their future...
