Few months ago, I got BA Bus class from syd to Spore, one way for 100K points and 500 dollars taxes. I thought it was a good bargain. Few yrs ago I took Japan Air, Syd-Tokyo-Amsterdam return and got almost 600 status points.. Good for a one trip.

Issue is not picking Qantas, Issue is My App warn well before delay and missing flight, but NOT Qantas, this is not acceptable.

Forget the business meeting, loosing connecting flight and waiting for a day for a connecting flight is acceptable to you?

Some people lost the whole idea about the post.. If you have 24 hrs+ flight and all depend on connecting to other and when Qantas not telling you about this, and this is acceptable? It must be acceptable for fools who work for Qantas or affiliate to PR or paid from PR.

Used few times Emirates from Singapore to Colombo on business class and services and food was excellent. In one instance it was a brand new plane and we are the first one to fly. Other is french wine, which has lots of exotic names to pick. Once I landed at Colombo I was so drunk....lol.

I went to colombo for 6 month assignment and had allowance of 90 Kg on Bus. class ticket from BA+Emirate in last Oct. When I came back I asked SL Air about my 57 kg and they said as silver FF I am entitled to 52 kg. I know now silver on QF is not the same on SL air. Tks for all of your comments.

I had a printout that says 52 kg (40+12), I have thrown it away and they accepted 52 kg for my status if it is silver. I had total of 57 Kg. Issue was they told be I am not silver from colombo to Singapore . How come? I paid extra SL Rs 18000, around A$ 180.

I lived in Beijing Grand Hyatt for nearly 4 yrs, amazing hotel and after few months they gave me a suit and I used to work for Cisco. I used to live in Hyatt, Shinjuku after that and Cisco corp rates are the best. Of course I got more than 500K hyatt points.

Well try and see what happen since I have tried many times...Cathay will say as long as Qantas lounge open you need to go there if the ticket is QF.. This started few yrs ago and early days you can go to Cathay lounge if you are Qantas flier. Hope some one from one world or Qantas, Cathay answer...
