indeed, but club rooms tend to be located at higher floors such as "club floor". at many properties, it is common to have check-in agents upsell the lounge access to guest without actually staying at a suit/or club room.

Stayed at MEL earlier this year but I was not a voyager member. So can not commont on the club access. i was upgraded to a Club room at one of the HK properties. Was told no club access as I booked a standard room. Club access is not part of the 1865 benefits.

Voyagers don't get club access unless you book a club room. Stayed at SYD in OCT, no room upgrade and fairly standard welcome aminties. The white wine was 375ml. i tend to find HK properties look after voyager members better.
