I've only just made Executive level 1 year after joining, and have had great rates every hire, better than those of Avis whom I used for 9 years. There have had only one upgrade in ZQN from a Corolla to a Rav4, which was good. Looking forward to the next rental to see how that plays out.

Sorry, I meant that once a sale is over, the base fare increases but at the same time the max bundle cost decreases. They both must be purchased together at the same time to allow the fare to be refundable. So depending on the dates these non sale max fares can work out a little cheaper than in...

I also have been frustrated with this and now wait until any sales are over and then book my required 3 max bundle fares for a saving of ~$400. Thanks for that! Never even occurred to me to do that.

I just did the Sin - Syd in CW on 777-300 1st september. Service was frenetic, very little quiet time about 22:30 to 1:45 Singapore time then noisy again sat in row 11. Seat comfy enough but QF food and seat better on the refurb 747 when they ran it.

Before joining AFF in 2009 earn was around 100K points/year and QC life NB, The year I joined still NB and 150K/year. Then 3 years PS @200K-300K/year and last 2 years WP @350K-450K/year. Unfortunately I only see a downward spiral from here after Oct 2015 down so SG then will stabilise in 2016+...
