Spent Christmas 2016 in Zurich, Hired a car and went to Lucerne and up to Mount Pilatus, it was spectacular. Nice restaurant half way up too that looks up to the peak. Agree with earlier posts that food especially is expensive in Zurich so some self catering can be a bit more of a frugal option...

This year my family and I would have had enough flying for me to keep QF Gold again, but have now shifted to cheapest fares as I'm training for my PPL. Which means status will no longer apply as I'll be doing all our domestic flying by me.

Loving the Tolpuddle i have been rewarded since being put onto this one. On the way to HKG I was rewarded with the Woodlands 'Margaret' from Bne which is always lovely.

I am currently in the longest stint of no flying due to a major house renovation, last trip April 2015 next flight (x5) in 10 days so 20 months for me... Serious withdrawal.
