Btw for a Carnac we stayed in a best western on le plage. Was ok but can’t remember the name now.

We stayed here for four days and explored Bayeux (tapestry) etc and the Normandy towns, beaches (WWII) and WWII cemetries. https://www.liondor-bayeux.fr/en/ Nice hotel, good restaurant, easy car access and close to centre of town for walking tour.
