    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Yes, they do seem to have got a spurt on recently, perhaps in response to Coles' much better offers. I'm in the middle of a 9000 pts for 3x$130 and a concurrent 1200 for $150 just landed. Haven't seen anything quite like that for a while...

    VA IT Issues?

Just checked in online (via PC) for a flight to ADL and couldn't get a boarding pass on the app or sent to my email. Kept saying error. try again later. I noticed that they had "upgraded" the app (to not work), but has anyone else experienced similar issues.

Are the days of Points collecting over?

I'm not sure what planet you're living on, but I don't think many people with those sorts of incomes would find much of this relevant. Oh, unless they're asset rich and cash poor, of course.

QF37 to QF1 transfer in SIN

Unlikely there'd be much space available (in J at least), if my flight to AMS next week is anything to go by.

    Inflight theft

Just have your valuables (if you have any) in your personal item under the seat in front or similar. That's what I tend to do. But then don't leave this item on the plane (which I have done, but with a happy ending).

    Paper towels enhanced from lounges?

Been like that for a while. Was like that on 26 April when I was last there.

UK Electronic Travel Authority ATA for transit

If it were me, I wouldn't want to have any arguments (which you may not win) with check in staff at the airport, however remote a possibility. So I would just get an ETA as insurance. And who knows, there may be some issue requiring you to go landside for some reason.

Velocity introduces Forever Gold lifetime status tier

Very simple to say, but pity VA didn't tell us what these new rules would be several years ago. “New” SC's aren't quite the same as “old” ones, in terms of their cost. Those that achieved the majority of them in the past are at a slight advantage, I think. Personally I just write it off to the...

Virgin Wines points land after 6 months

I took up a similar offer last month for 4,000 bonus points, and no points have yet been received. I gave Virgin Wines a ring and was told that I should wait for at least 30 days. Needless to say that I'll be following it up, but it doesn't make me want to buy any more wine off them. Makes the...

    eSims, what is your experience.

Yes, I'm with Three UK as well. It's pretty good, but unfortunately doesn't cover Thailand, which I visit fairly often, so I then have to fall back on my Amaysim plan. Not a huge deal, though.

No wonder BA inflight service can be an issue

"A British Airways crew member was found dancing naked in a business class toilet at 30,000ft." Not a lot of room to "dance" I would have thought.

Spend $130/week x 4 for 9,000 pts. Reasonable offer, even though I'm away for a couple of weeks. My other half will deal with it.

Gulf Air Manila to Europe R/T in Business - Approx $1925 (AUD)

Well, fares can change pretty rapidly, unfortunately. However, when I follow the link in the first post to Google flights it now displays a Saudia fare for AU$1935/1963, which isn't too bad either.

    Airfares to US to drop?

Maybe the sun will set at some stage. Then the airlines will scurry (and ask for Govt bailouts).
