I was mistaken, seems they have added more frequency from when i last read about it.

Aren't the A330's only 'guaranteed' on weekdays, the 737's have always been used on Saturdays for most transcon flights...

Virgin didn't increase fares, hence why they couldn't cover the carbon tax. So i wouldn't expect any reduction if it is abolished.

It's not just limited to VA, QF in my experience have been more inconsistent than my VA experiences. I think its part of customer service type roles.

I have done this before and somewhere (cant recall atm) you dont earn on none direct bookings but i have phoned the hotel and asked to check my booking had my HH number and had them add it.

Re: Virgin WIFi IFE Aircraft are still being tested, YID is the only one that they make a point of telling people when they are flying on it. It will be launched soon and those with it installed will be actively marketed as such.

There is a big difference between a WiFi device on a WiFi Capable aircraft and WiFi on one that isn't and mobile transmitters on aircraft. All of the VA Aircraft that are getting WiFi installed have to be 'TPED' approved/tested. This is basically certifying that the WiFi (not mobile) devices...

That's not right. I get the reward seat availability being different but you would think with those numbers a seat in the upgrade bucket would be available. Maybe try at the lounge tomorrow?

How long before departure was it? I tried 30mins prior and they lady said the cutoff was 40min prior to ensure they could load extra catering if needed, she phoned to see but it was too late.
