Been charged $20 AUD in Manila to travell around the block, in Australia had parts for a machine put in a taxi in melbourne, and brought to wodonga. Charged for the return trip too of course, forget the cost but the driver was happy about it

Maybe I'll give up the QFF points game altogether

Yep I've canned them, will still collect points but going with better non qf credit cards and flying bfod now. Qantas aren't value for money anymore and the QFF program is rubbish

Skype really is great. I think she needs to realise this is how food gets on the table, and be a bit more understanding. It's easy for those at home to crack it with they're travelling partner. For the record I don't travel for work anymore, but know plenty that do, it seems to be an ongoing...

I stayed at the radison late last year and cannot fault my stay at all. Denarau is a great place, prices are good. Everything's there you need. Sure Nadi is cheaper (unless your dragged into the dodgy souvenir shops) but it's a hell hole in my opinion. Too busy messy and in your face for me. I'd...

QF Sydney int to dom transfer

So yesterday arvo, jumped onto the QF bus out of T1 bound for T3. Whilst getting our boarding passes scanned was told there's gonna be a bit of a delay of the bus departing due to lightning activity in the area. Didn't worry us at all, but WTF?

Thai Airlines burst Tyre today in Chiang Mai?

Well if the tyre burst, it would then deflate. Explosion is a bit of a dramatic way to describe it though. If the tyre was deflated to begin with it could easily overheat and burst once in use
