They asked for mine when applying for the Explorer years ago, and have not asked when I applied for the Platinum and Reserve.

Recently myself and supplements by default got cards within 3 business days via DHL. I think they do want a physical card...

I talked to their supervisor and they fixed it right after.

May be a bit off-topic: Got a supplement card today and it is in the US plat card style. No "platinum" on the front, and a smaller "platinum" on the back below the card number.

Not really busy. Centurion area have more guests somehow but I don't know it has voucher for guests until checked amex website. May be try again next time got dinner in the city since they say I can entry multiple times.
