Well, it actually worked out to my favour because I had an online chat session with a rep, full point was credit back before I had that quick look.

    Gift Cards at Supermarkets

What I found when I looked at my point transactions was that some refund (3ppd merch) was recorded but no point was deducted. Then some 1ppd transactions happened and the next 3ppd transaction should had occurred, the weird 2.48.. ratio happens. Some quick calc and it seems the system had...

    Gift Cards at Supermarkets

the sales lady did put through 5 at a time. So the order of events was: First time with everyday reward scanned: worked. 2nd time with everyday reward scanned: failed. 3rd time without everyday reward: worked.

    Gift Cards at Supermarkets

it seems there is a 5 vs1 limit on every rewards card. Was trying to put through some vs1 at the checkout, and all cards after the first 5 was declined. The sales rep had to refund those and put through new cards without me scanning the my everyday rewards, and these worked. It seems the limit...

I think burmans meant you get 5% discount with the egc then order with DM using the egc via CR for cash back. But DM is currently not accepting online egc processing atm.

    Gift Cards at Supermarkets

Actually, went through my point statements and there are quite a few places that are not major supermarkets but still come through with 3:1: Kmart, Target, Dan's Murphy Online. It seem to be the stores that belong to major super market chains.

Still a tad more than 0.3c/pt for those that can get V1 $100 at 5% discount at woolies.

    Gift Cards at Supermarkets

well, used my PE at an officeworks store recently and just realised the points come in at 3:1. Online order at officeworks only seems to be 2:1. It's quite confusing. But still, second best option compared to woolworths 5% discount

Thanks. Saw that before, but you'll only get 1pt per $ directly at officeworks. And I don't think you can use woolies gift card to buy things at officeworks.

    Gift Cards at Supermarkets

Thanks everyone for the input. I did read through the thread and my generalisation is that you can buy gc when on sales, VS1 for general spends at Visa merchants. I might have missed others so I'll give it another peruse. It seemed VS1 used to be the most flexible with the ability to use with...

    Frequent PER-SGN Business class planning

Hi, Due to work-family commitments, I'll be travelling PER-SGN fairly 2-3 return trips per year, might be nothing for some but that's a fair bit of travel for me. And I think SingaporeAir would be my best option. Anyhow, I'm researching to see what's the best way to plan for those trips. And...
