I travel quite light and this last trip had to get my pullover drycleaned becaus eof a spill. The SQ PJs top was a great substitute for a day out touring museums. Nobody was any the wiser. Except me of course.

I did just this on a recent trip to the USA. Worked nicely, and my flight changes were actually much closer to travel date (within 4 months) I think you're in with a good shot. FRA-JFK was pretty empty on my flight (3 pax). Regards, Peter

Payment on 26th late afternoon finally posted to ANZ, but interestingly it has a transaction date of 29th, with the points still fully credited. Now to have the discussion about cancelling the card. I'll report back on the outcome.

Hi folks, Just did a few internal flights in the LOTFAP and the following showed up on my Velocity activity statement. Why the difference in points one way or the other? Both are booked in Delta's First class, and the SCs are the same so I'm a little confused. Thoughts? Regards, Peter

I'm willing to pay for that inside information. And in my opinion, the best coffee at Changi is Costas - flat white with an extra shot. Nearest I've found to a proper barista-made coffee in the last 3 weeks of travel.

I have to agree. The Krisflyer Gold lounge is a bitter disappointment after time in SKL and TPR. But frankly I was happy to just get a cup of tea while I waited for my room in the transit hotel.

Just on this 15% promo...........are many of you guys using this as an opportunity to move points from credit card programs (where I have most of mine warehoused) into VA? I usually redeem on SQ but VA makes a lot of sense to me with the 15% bonus, even if I then later transfer them to SQ...
