yep, keep in mind that the JAL flights aren't released as quickly as the CX my GUM-NRT leg is on 1/4/15 - which i think was only released this week

yea i had to call a few times... just finding an agent that can see the JAL flights was a mission like smit said it's not like it used to be, i also had agents tell me 'you are transiting in a higher zone so its 90k' the agent that booked it said 'if you want to stay longer in tokyo you need...

that's weird they found my PER-HKG but couldn't see the HKG-HND flight i had... hit and miss, sounds like ANA all over again

it's a long lay over in HKG but i'm sure that isn't a big problem for you the LHR-HKG leg has 2 seats in F if you want to pay the extra points, maybe they have 2 in F for your HKG-LHR leg

I'm seeing 2x seats in J on the 6th on January LHR-HKG CX252 then on the 7th you will have to go HKG-KUL CX791 followed by KUL-PER MH125 all flights have 2 seats in J

God talk about reaching for the stars!!! if you can pull off MEL-HKG-NRT-GUM-NRT-HKG-MEL all in J with some F here and there then I'd consider yourself a lucky man

I read earlier today that US Airways is passing on the LHR taxes, so it would be much more expensive to fly in and out of LHR then anywhere else in Europe

When i called the other day the agent offered me a CX flight i got really excited then at the last minute it didn't let him book it. I think you may be pleasantly surprised

Re: Change of Award Cabin - Before travel starts - ? Possible on partner airlines are you saying that with a phone call we are able to get SQ J more then 14 days out? I didn't think we could!

more importantly, what search tools does everyone use for OW? atm I'm using Qantas but it's clunky as hell, heard BA Avois is good, anything better?
