There may well be variation in terminology. The fact is that the fare quoted increased 3 times in around 6 mins, along with 2 "failed" ride engagements. Is that technically called a "surge" or is it called "demand fluctuation" is a little irrelevant from my (the customer) perspective.

I buy QFF points quite regularly. Mine always come with a free case of wine :cool:. I have never seen value in using the QFF Top Up points purchase. If buying at the right time, and with Point Club Plus membership, it can be quite reasonable value, and usually better than the Top Up options...
