    The C word, R U OK?

Cairns, Broome and Darwin are quite reasonable, ao far as weather goes at that time of year, but Caloundra or Maroochydore would be ideal in August, and far cheaper. Avioid Noosa, unless you speak fluent Victorian.

QANTAS takes A380s out of circulation [and reduces flights]

No doubt; while we poor genuine lower types wait on the phone.

Where is the warm welcome ? Qantas Domestic Lounge.

    What absolute rubbish.

Why do baggage handlers throw baggage?

Perhaps you could answer DC3's original question, instead of avoiding the question. .

Why do baggage handlers throw baggage?

It very much sounds like it. Not many commas, and an enormous amount of young-person gobbledegook. Must do better.

Where is the warm welcome ? Qantas Domestic Lounge.

Perhaps it was because you loused up the grammar. Unfortunately it is such a common error now, to say myself instead of I or me (depending on the context).

Why do baggage handlers throw baggage?

As a broken infinitive is easier? Not really. 1583297417 What on earth is that supposed to mean?

A chance to reminisce - who remembers the "old days" of Travel?

Presumably the (presumably major)- general had a very good point, as he or she was enforcing the then-current rules.

A chance to reminisce - who remembers the "old days" of Travel?

I'm so old that I remember when any Australian who misspelt aeroplane had to write a thousand lines and fly on American Airlines from SFO to JFK and was forcibly required to inhale.

Suggestions for a travel destination for September?

How young you were, Ralph, as was I in 1970; I was also in my early twenties when I had my first O/S trip, to NZ. No merchant banking and no gross stupidity. In those days there was no problem with short vowels: an A was an A, an E was an E and and an I was an I in both countries. Those...

Will Coronavirus push fares down on carriers especially CX, JL?

Cathay to LHR return via HKG in August is looking extremely unwise. If only DFAT wouid say so. How long do you have to wait for the obvious?

Precisely about what are you whingeing about, GoldCanyon540, and why?

P1 status run- can it be done?

What on earth does "whinging" mean? Anything similar to the word "whingeing"? Cheerio for now, and good luck with the spelling. 1582698515 Kindly explain.

P1 status run- can it be done?

You're based OUT of Sydney? Does that mean you're based IN Sydney? Level Nine I remember from Houston; is that what you're talking about? You're not very bright, are you?

P1 status run- can it be done?

The P1 thread eh? Sounds exclusive. Are mere mortals permitted to enter?

    New Qantas safety demo 2020

Certainly not. Probably Darwin, on the way to Brisbane - most definitely not anywhere in Sydney. The Q in Qantas does stand for Queensland, where Qantas began in 1920, and the "nt"for the Northern Territory, after all.

    AMEX Qantas Ultimate Card - 100,00 QFF points - $3,000 min spend - Expires April 22, 2020

Amex is surely shooting itself in the foot with this 18-months' business. What makes them think that is a good idea? I have just cancelled my Amex card, and won't be back for 18 months, if then.

    Would you visit China?

The most interesting aspect and question, in my opinion is should an Australian go to anywhere in China? Clearly the emphatic answer is no.
