Toyko lounge access / city visit?

If I had to pay $$$$ just to go to the lounge for the odd trip, not worth it. If you are an existing Diners Club cardholder, then this is the way to go however I would not join Diners just for this privlage.

Qantas Frequent Flyer Store (Points+Pay) Launched

Just been browsing the camera and does not seem to be any value. I could negoitate a better price on offer without using any FF points.

ANZ Diners Card - Retention offer - DOUBLE POINTS for 3 mths

I also called Diners Club last week to check on the annual fee. Basically the offer was for one year free however it is only 10 months old and they still applied the annual fee to my account. Diners said they collect the fee in advance. Diners reduced the fee down to $24- for all ANZ...

    EnergyAustralia - Qantas bonus?

A few months back Energy Aust had an offer with AMEX with a special points offer. I calculated the discounted offer over the AMEX points offer and the discount option was much superior. Look at the full picture before signing up and be wary of their marketing tricks.

Why is Virgin Blue´s share price suffering?

My assumptions would be related to Oil prices and a little bit of competition.

    30 000+ *A Points for sale for AU$53???

I would look very carefully at the way they asked for payment especially it's a new ebay user. Who would be daring enough to send $$$ to an account and have no recourse? Well definitely not me. If you had the option to pay by credit card, that would be a safer bet, at least you have recourse...

    Extra points

Some tips would be nice. Come on spill the beans... I presume you would be doing some balance transfers such as the Citibank Platinum. $35,000 x 10 months = 350,000 points. Some other thoughts would be that you have order some big ticket items and then cancel and get them refunded. This...

ANZ or Westpac, that is the question.

I heard that if Westpac values your relationship, they will give you double points and waive fees for you.

Properly Structured Closing of an ANZ Telstra Visa Card

I did this a few years ago, even though ANZ charged me a new annual fee, I still managed to close off the card and get a full refund. It's best to do this the month they charge your account. Also, there's a chance the Bank might stuff up and forget to put the charge through. This happened...

    International Travel Insurance

It's best to give them a call or better still get it in writing. Insurance companies have a habit of rejecting claims. I personally would prefer to pay for a policy. Like the saying "you get what you paid for" It's better to be extra careful and avoid dangerous situations so you don't...

New Diners / Qantas FF card

Danielh, I believe AMEX has some promo's with 1.5 points. Another catch I noticed with Diners is they charge a fee for Bpay. : :x

Another round of specials has just been posted on the Qantas website. Sydney - Nagoya 15,000 points off Award flights between Sydney and Nagoya. Sydney - Los Angeles 25% off selected Award flights between Sydney and Los Angeles. Sydney - Wellington 20% off Award flights...

What Credit gives free Qantas Membership?

Here's another idea for you. Sign up to Qantas Club and ask for a refund in 14 days. Let's see what they do with the QFF membership? Will they cancel this as well? Separately, no points are earned on award flights. Good Luck!

    Qantas Web Site Bookings.

You are correct. I thinks it's just sheer luck and determination if you can regenerate the same quote.

What Credit gives free Qantas Membership?

Daniel, No current Bank provides free QFF membership. ANZ was a promo that has finished but took almost a year to open an account for my fiance. There was lots of phone calls to ANZ chasing this up. You have two options: 1. QC members are entitled to free QFF membership 2. If you...
