CBA Visa Gold $114 annual fee and $15 additional card holder

Re: CBA Visa Gold $114 annual fee and $15 additional card ho I suggest you contact the Bank and close the account off. They should have no problems refunding the fee unless they talk you out of closing the account off. The annual fees are collected in advance. Good Luck :D

    Rewards Maximiser - sneaky charge

I applied for one last year and they botched the fee exemption. I had to call them three months in a row to get them to reverse the $12- fee.. I believe the reversal is done manually which is how the reversal gets overlooked. Keep a close eye on your statement.

    American Airlines Admirals Club Lounges

I have used the Narita and San Jose's AA lounge recently and was satisfied. In my opinion, I find the Qantas Club facilities are much cleaner and spacious. At San Jose (SJC), they give out one drink voucher per person and then fill your glass up with heaps of ice.

I NEED A NEW CREDIT CARD - HELP ME

Reading some of the comments about exchange rates being unfavourable, I thought I point out the conditions from the CBA credit card conditions of use. Depending on the card you use and the currency involved, your transaction is converted more than once. For example HKD - USD - AUD.

    Westpac lending/credit criteria?

Most Banks (if not all) use a credit scoring system. The data is fed into the system and a decision is made based on your credentials. Eg How long have you been living at your address, stability of employment, ability to save etc :)

    L.J.Hooker -Qantas real estate offer?

Like arun said, better consider the agent's ability and not get sucked in by the points factor. Remember the points are only worth a few hundred dollars at most where your house is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

ANZ QANTAS Visa: reduction in benefits list

It's not all the Bank's fault, I blame the Reserve Bank credit card reforms when they cut the Bank's interchange fee by 50%. When you lose millions of $$$ worth of income, something's got to give like our rewards program. I have not seen any merchants reduce their price levels as a result...
