Do you travel on whole of government fares? QF might exclude you from some things if so. If you don't, worth getting in touch with them.

This CMO but - on the pages I peruse - there's often a 'jump to recipe' link that bypasses the life stories, endless photos of each step, so-called secrets on buying ingredients etc.

Do you get pax whinging outright "But on my last flight I got xyz" frequently? My guess is there are money, training and other reasons why 1) service delivery is impossible to get 100% identical and consistent across thousands of staff and 2) not everything pax considers 'nice' or positive...

Agree with Thailand having lots of options. Hua Hin is nice and relaxing, and a lot quieter of course than the other overrun Thai beaches, but IMHO a week there would be too much. Unless you actually really really could sunbathe for a week straight. Langkawi also worth considering. Sorry can't...

I've read numerous reports of a lag before status drops. However, +1 ended SG on 30 Nov, and the very next day 1 Dec the status was already showing PS. No time wasted there. YMMV
