Exactly my way of thinking. If it's cheap, then it fits my idea of a LCC, if it's not cheap then I'll be looking for a full service carrier (and everything that goes with it - points/SC, food, drink.....) The 8 sectors I have booked on JQ have cost me a grand total, though one sale or another...

Yep, we had 112mm to 9am this morning, and it looks like hell of a lot more to come on the radar.

4 segments flown, 2 DOM (BNE-CNS-BNE) and 2 INT (BNE-CHC-BNE). And 8 segments booked. No issues so far. I flew JQ, purely because they were cheap. VERY cheap. It's like hiring the Yaris from Hertz, even though you really want the Merc.... The positives - the 2MP clan can all legitimately get...

We found out after the event that our agents weren't really registered with RR, even though they were listed on RR's website. RR were actually posting them a cheque rather than a direct deposit type payment.

Best I've done was a connection from a KA flight inbound from PVG connecting to a VS flight to SYD: 25 minutes from exiting the aircraft to parking bum in the VS clubhouse (I had a 1 hour transfer and had still had time for a bite and a beer) - even after collecting my BP from the transfers desk...

2 return flights BNE-SYD is the sum total of my flying for Jan - a total of 1830 BIS miles compared to 32384 BIS miles for Jan 2009. Expecting to retain SQ Gold easily this year, should retain it with the one flight left booked in March, but definitely will be struggling on the QF WP front...

I will generally put my mobile (work paid only - no personal one) on silent as soon as it goes in my pocket to go to work. One of my pet hates is comedy ring tones, there's nothing worse (IMO) than half a dozen obnoxious ring tones going off when you're trying to concentrate on your work or hold...

I used RR for a while, mostly for the welcome bonus of QFF points. But we had two nasty letters in a row from our rental agents - two payments in a row had taken nearly 2 full weeks to get them from RR. Needless to say we moved away from them.:mad:

Hell no. I can't even get J fares to SEAsia for that.
