I hope I'm wrong but can't use WOW GCs to pay for other GCs anymore - this was a well worn path with the $100 Visa cards in the "old days" - happy to be corrected and for it to be via PM if need be.

Thanks for confirming. I’ll use my US gold/green Amex’s for the bonus points so should warn well despite the poor currency. It’s only seeking to use my QFF points for payment. How do we change the payment type on marketplace?

Sorry if I’ve missed it elsewhere in this thread. Do purchases on Green or Gold cards also code as “travel” bonus category spend?

It works with Revolut but it must cost them money as I got a warning (which I assumed meant “behave” rather than “no more soup for you”) and they blocked it as a load method for me. I think the message is ‘use sparingly’.

What did you do to trigger a review? I went through an extremely thorough AML process recently. I don’t suppose that qualifies.

I’ve had a US Premier relationship for some years now. Unless I’m grandfathered, I haven’t been depositing $US5k/month - I’ve qualified based on my AU Premier status.

FWIW Amex has Qantas discovery & Velocity Escape cards no AF though they do have FX fees. Earn is reasonable for a no AF card. Won’t suit everyone but if you’re after rewards points for no AF, these might be worth a look. No other perks as to be expected with no AF cards. YMMV.

That’s right. I never use my Platinum Reserve never sees any activity and this offer appeared on that card rather than my charge card which is where I make all of my purchases.
