Cancelled flights & waivers due to Cyclone Alfred

3km south of CBD. We are copping more and stronger wind and rain tonight than yesterday/last night. Windows rattling like crazy.

Cancelled flights & waivers due to Cyclone Alfred

The two neighbour’s cats that hang around our place all the time were extremely nervy and needy all day yesterday. Couldn't calm them down constant meowing and pacing up and down.

Cancelled flights & waivers due to Cyclone Alfred

Still got power and water and no damage 🙏 Based on councils prognosis flood maps, we are unlikely ever to flood but access roads around us may become impassable for a few days.

    Qantas flight time changes

Seriously??? EVERY airline is changing their forward schedules in some way every day. QF itself flies to some 70- 80 different airports with up to 25000 flights per month. Constantly negotiating slots which can change, predictive loads change, aircraft size alterations for market and fleet...

    Qantas flight time changes

I can’t remember a longer term pre booking that didn't have some change; sometimes from 5min thru to a couple by 24hours and that's with a dozen different airlines. IMHO It shouldn't be thought of as an exceptional event by any regular flyer.
