Very disappointed about Qantas FF program

Prior to reading this forum I would have been in this category as well I also think another part of the problem (all though more indirect and I'm not trying to shift the blame from the airlines this the majority of their fault) is that numerous people help feed the perception that there is...

    QF768 Sat 12 April B737 subbed for A332

That sucks, I've done something similar but for March specifically chose QF767 for the exact same reason. I'm going to keep an eye my booking more for the seat selection

    QANTAS International Red Tail sale

I think that would be more of a question for those who are more experienced in the Dark Arts of Qantas and I'm assuming your friend may already know someone who has such experience

    QANTAS International Red Tail sale

I just read the terms for this since I didn't twig it could be 4,000 per flight and my understanding I think it will only be 2000 per booking 😢

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

100% agree it is best to do it early than later. Assuming you have a basic meter (or a dumb smart meter) both of which need to me manually read Worse case it will take you over 180 days to switch, roughly 90 days until your next meter read (which triggers the switch process) then another 90...

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

In theory 2 months would be enough time if everything is timed correctly. The reason I suggested if you want to change is to do it via a move in is that everything starts straight away. To switch Red have to send a change request (CR) to the market saying we want to win Flyinfish electricity...

    Qantas Green frequent flyer tier

Your best chance to get it by the 30th April 1. Sign up as via Move In with a move in date 2 business days from when you sign up. The call centre is based in Richmond Victoria alternatively if you don't to speak to someone you can do it online 2. Make sure you select monthly billing If...

Qantas Cabin Baggage Survey Results Email

I'm the same and after spending way too much time looking at the carry on guidelines I'm thinking the same, just get a roller that is 48cm long

Double Status Credits promotion (Book by 27/2/24, travel 28/2/24-14/2/25)

My guess is it will be in March - gives it enough time for the current back to back ones to wash through the system and give a few more weeks of speculation.

Qantas Cabin Baggage Survey Results Email

With the space I'm not sure what you mean by 'heap' but I'm thinking a divider that is 1-2mm think so two in each bin 2-4mm lost space per bin but I concede it most likely require a re-design of the bin overall so probably won't happen. Which means we have to use the current system and either...

Qantas Cabin Baggage Survey Results Email

I'm sure there is a reason why they haven't already, but why don't Qantas just put dividers in the overhead bins at 37cm (just wide enough to meet their own width requirements). That way it either fits in the overhead/goes under the seat or it gets checked As for the weight restrictions they...

    What frequent flyers really want?

I'm still a rookie in terms of flying and having status so I'm still getting a little thrill from visiting the lounges to the priority lanes for security Not sure how this would be possible but you read/hear the odd complaint about "I don't get any real benefit from high level status" but what...

    What frequent flyers really want?

That is super impressive, I'm guessing you guys have a scale at home that is calibrated pretty close to what they have at check in

Article: Latest Changes May Not Fix Qantas’ Reward Availability Problem

It would be nice to know when the batch days are, even if it is the 2nd Wednesday after a full moon at 1.54am.

Article: Latest Changes May Not Fix Qantas’ Reward Availability Problem

I'm pretty sure that they could prove this claim, they aren't saying that 'We have X amount of reward seats from a major capital city to another major international capital city' which is how most people interpret it. Let's be honest a majority of the five million are most likely to and from...

Article: The Benefits of Sitting at the Back of the Plane

I agree I can't see any ethical issue, I've actually done the same with a future booking I've got coming up. I'm gambling that no one will voluntary choose the middle at the back of the plane between two people. Worse case I'm prepared to take the middle seat so my mum gets to keep the window

Unique airport lounge features & services

As much I love the idea of a gym this would get more use just needs some full body foam rollers and it would be perfect

    Qantas DSC October 2024 Offer - book by 31/10/24 & fly 1/11/24-19/10/25

I'm guessing 50% chance either they will or they won't (but I am hoping for another one)

    Gifts for cabin crew

I'm the same every flight I take where the cabin crew don't have to do their number 1 role is a good flight (so far I'm batting at 100% and fingers crossed it stays that way). The rest of the stuff I treat as a bonus
