NM, I don't think it was at the E concourse, all the concourses are connected once you get through. I think it was D and then you just walk down past the new AC club into E.

You don't mention which airline but I bet it was QF, they do this sort of thing on a regular basis especially out of LA. They've done it to me twice this year.
Last Sunday in the Sunherald QF advertised a RTW ticket QF/BA for $1999
including taxes and a $200 land credit. Q class ticket with 2 side trips included, I can't find it on the QF site.
Last yr in April QF and AA price matched a UA offer of $1499 Syd-US and I bought 5 AA return tickets for this yr. I'm now wondering when to buy next yrs tickets.
Would I be better off ticketing from the US? AA has a special for LAX- IAD- LAX for $198 plus taxes through next yr.
AA EXP PLT...
Lindsay as I only changed from the Darkside (QF) in June it's looking like I'm going to be 20K EQM's short for this yr for EXP. So I'm now aiming at August 06 for EXP but I'm really loving the free F upgrades in the US from LAX - IAD it gives me 5 hours to staighten up after 12 hours in QF/AA Y!!
NM's right, I was in exactly the same situation earlier this year, QP member, flying the AA codeshare SYD- LAX- IAD without status and I had no trouble accessing the QP.
An article in todays New York times on NC headphone study concludes that overear headphones offer a considerable benefit in reducing background noise compared to in ear sets. I don't know if it's available online.
I just tried the sets QF offers in J to the US and they are no where near as...
To finish my story (gripe)....
I had forwarded a copy of my problems to AA so they were aware of what QF was doing. I've now been contected by 2 AA representatives seeking further clarification. This morning I received an email saying that AA was sending me a travel voucher (great!!) and even...
I've also noticed that if you are looking at say a QF/AA codeshare flight if you can't access the QF seating map you can still see the seating map if you look at the AA flt number. It seems to me that QF withdraw the seating map before AA does.
Yes I'm another of your successful proteges!!
From your post it looks like your having to use miles to upgrade the internal US flts. When are you coming across from the Dark Side? As you know an AA emerald would get free upgrades and an AA award F ticket SYD- LAX - MIA return is only 145K miles.
Given QF controlled the seating this was their call. I have difficulty understanding why anybody regularly flying to the US from Aus would bother being with QF. AA gives me a free upgrade to F LAX- IAD and charges 145K miles for an award F SYD- IAD return. QF wants 382K for the same.
I don't...
