    Gold/Diamond [+anyone else][breakfast] Enhancement-coffee [now $5]-in Hilton Sydney!

Re: Gold/Diamond [+anyone else][breakfast] Enhancement-coffee [now $5]-in Hilton Sydn I think Hilton Sandton (near JNB, South Africa) makes a valiant attempt. Even going so far as to have hot steak in the EL! For the question about Sydney EL vs Glass, the cold options are much the same -...

Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

Just an update on this, after they sorted it out through the helpdesk, they report that they've got a mASA for the minimum points (84000) and pay for TMW-SYD (Y) and SYD-JNB (J). I'm waiting for my confirmation now.

Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

Just to update this, they're now saying that it's not possible to have a mixed-class any seat award. However, when I'm trying to book the U seat on QF63 SYD-JNB, it won't price. They can see the availablility of U, they can see that it's available as a classic award, but claim that the ASA...

Has anyone had success with the call-up "Marginal" xASA's?

Has anyone had any success with doing a mixed Y/J mASA booking on the one PNR? I'm currently on hold and have been for the last half an hour - I'm wanting to fly a mASA TMW-SYD in Y (no J on the Q400 planes) and then SYD-JNB on QF63 in J. There is X class available on the TMW-SYD flight and U...

US to exit STAR 30th March & join ONEWORLD 31st

I could imagine that if they walked on, they might not have needed the assistance, but they were using the assistance when they didn't really need to use it, then others might not appreciate that. Others might see that those people were using assistance as a pre-boarding advantage.

Moving to AAdvantage after QF LTG?

Yup, for mainline that's the case. It's more for QFLink, where you can't do seat selection and have to wait for them to do it for you. In that case, for those that are AA EXP and fly QFLink, do they seat you up the front like they do with the QF WPs?

Moving to AAdvantage after QF LTG?

For those of you that are AA Elites, how do you go with seat assignments? If you're AA EXP, are you first in line for seat assignment alongside WP, or are you behind. The reason is that I do a lot of regional flights (QFLink) and you can't do seat assignments - you have to let them do it for...

"Island Dining" in the Domestic J lounges: Tips, Timing & Menus

I was here for this - it was offered from about 4pm until 6pm. I thought it was cute, but was saving myself for island dining. Had no idea this was replacing it. FWIW, it was a sausage in a bun, onion jam, mustard, tomato sauce and cheese.
