I agree wholeheartedly! The only time I'd go forward of the curtain on a 737 is if I was absolutely busting and there were carts in the aisle that would prevent me from getting past.

Agree that you've definitely had a rough trot! Get those complaints in on the phone, make sure they're followed up and hopefully you will hear something positive back from customer relations.

I seem to have a shadow most of the time on QF, but not always. Don't know if it's just a regular seating choice (26J anyone?) or whether there is some Altea magic at play. Hopefully Virgin will be able to work something out over time once the new program settles down!

I hope you mentioned it to the crew on boarding. When I did that on my qualifying and subsequent first leg as a Platinum I got a bottle of wine from them on each occasion!

I've just received the 2012 renewal kit. On the back, the priority boarding section now reads "on selected flights with a QF flight number" - sounds like it is being enhanced out for domestic single-aerobridge operations.
