Also worth looking at inner north suburbs like Newmarket & Wilston - on the train lines, close to the airport, and likely to be that little bit cheaper than New Farm & the Valley. Spring Hill is a good bet overall, however places like Bonaparte's aren't overly flash (eg on a very main road)
