Its scheme debit, so from the merchants prospective it looks like a CC. Fees for debit generally are a fixed rate though however the bank handling the transactions probably charge the same rate (normally a percentage)

My regular card was deactivated within a week of receiving the platinum card, from the sounds of it though it is a manual process and depends really if the staff memeber remembers to follow it up.

Received the platinum card today, just milked an extra 50 transactions today.

The transaction points normally get posted after the month has finished. Last month it was on the 4th. I didn't get any points on the first month, instead they credited them on the following months statement.

I made a purchase well over $3000 on the basic card, I was credited FF points for the full amount.

I'll be getting a letter from the SDRO in the coming weeks. I wonder if micro payments are accepted :p

Points got posted to FF account today on the base card. I'm tempted to close the account and reopen. Considering they were allocated prior to me spending $1500, I suspect their system might have a few more loopholes.

I have to make a payment next week which is above my credit limit. Would I be able to deposit the amount into the card so it is in surplus, and make the payment following this? Would FF points be credited?
