The Best (And Worst) Airlines of 2013 published in The Wall Street Journal

Although Delta's reward program is a joke (broken calendar, hard to book seats at low level, etc). The service is actually pretty good. What a shame.

    IHG Rewards - Win Big

I have not had good customer service when I emailed IHG either. Sounds like with chat or phone call, one is more likely to have an issue fixed.

Middle name on ticket not capitalised

As long as one has First name and last name in the US, it should be fine. It gets more dicey when one uses his/her middle name instead of the first name.

Middle name on ticket not capitalised

I wouldn't sweat it. Most, if not all check-in agents would use some common sense and not give you a hard time :)

Why do people in the US actually bother with lounge access?

Some lounges used to serve decent complimentary alcohol. Now they took it away and/or served low quality complimentary beverages. Agree, very little substantial complementary food available... If the airport has wifi and one can find a place to plug the laptop, then skip the lounge altogether

Couldn't agree more. Now I fall asleep watching marathon matches of 4-5 hours with endless rallies...

Is ANA the next best thing to USDM?

With the AA/US merger, it might as well be. As others mentioned Lifemiles is also another alternative although the program is "screwy" with unannounced devaluations for example

Help with allocating points to get to London or France

Just as an aside, keep in mind that if you leave from LHR, you will be hit by their high departure tax which can be pretty high. So it might be better to leave from another city (such as CDG although people usually don't like the airport)

    Travelling in and around Paris

If one has a smartphone, I would download the subway map app and there is usually free wifi in many places, so a quick check on google maps can also be very useful.

    Hong Kong in 2 days - a beginner's guide

as yohy?! mentioned, it's within a walking distance of the Hung Hom MTR station, from there you can get to anywhere you'd like, especially the city center. I would definitely go to Victoria Peak and Causeway Bay which is a very busy area and touristic. The HK walk of fame also is a good spot.

    Advice Please use FF points

I don't think that is correct. OP should definitely book before the devaluation and can book 330 days out. Whether the miles expire before the travel date should not matter. It will actually extend it for the miles left on the account.

    First Class on American Eagle?

That is pretty bad. Given that is it American Eagle, that is not very surprising. First class is not that substantially better and now most airlines are trying to sell those seats at boarding time for a fee to upgrade from coach hoping some people take the bait.
