    There doesn't seem to be a transit facility there - apart for maybe Garuda customers? You have to collect baggage, go through immigration and pay the VOA fee. Then check in again.

    What cheeses me off

    I think from a directors' point of view (I see it here where I work, large hotel) that the refund sort of turns into a new regular bill they have to pay and can only clear when the cash flow is good enough. Just tough times at the moment, would not like to be in their shoes since the onset of COVID.

    I got this and opted for a refund for whole 3K itinerary to BKK, and rebooked JQ a day earlier. Air Asia thankfully has a good connecting time to fly DPS-DMK.

    Qantas hotels ripoff

    This is very odd and something isn't quite right. Did you fully prepay for this booking at the time of booking? Hotels don't get guest's credit card details and only a virtual credit card to charge Qantas Hotels (Hooroo). I wonder if the hotel had no option but to cancel your booking...
