    Haven't seen anything of a review or even hinting that people are flying this in big amounts, hopefull my planes not so full and I cen enjoy the... full turkish experience On a side note, any lounges I can get into? just by paying since all I have is Velocity gold but that's on my parents card...

    yeah it was way cheaper than anything. lowest price for 4 people return berlin was 7.6k so marginally less than that, but dates only work with the departure dates of the new flight (Monday might be a lot more expensive than tuesday regarding TK is using a codeshare)

    Qatar adding 777's to DOH-SYD?

    QR3223 and QR7424 are Qatari B777's flying seemingly a daily service into sydney, leaving 1 hours earlier than the original QR908/909. Seems like an additional service? Anything to do with the 25% in velocity? I thought they had the 28 flights/day cap?

    So i've booked 5 people on this route (haha) but seats are at $88 for one person, quite steep. Anyone here know if it's worth it or I should just wait since we depart about mid december, so would the flight be full?

    Yeah it's easiest to look off the website and just change the date and you will see the price fluctuate by nearly double. Yes it's a 20:40 departure, it's bookable now. And the 2hrs i guess is on the plane as one "direct" flight. So a fuel stop is what I assume it as. It is quite competitve...

    Unless you're planning to drink it on your flight... which I hope you arent, safer to put it in checked but there should be no issue, except weight.
