Update - after reading about other peoples' experiences, I decided to use webchat to make my third attempt to get the points credited (after unsuccessful email and phone call). Thankfully this worked. Points and status credited. Phew.

I have had 3 op-ups and each time found out at the gate when my boarding pass was rejected and replaced. travelling alone on QF Sydney to LAX, A380 J to F seat 1K. On this trip I had a lovely degustation meal paired with wine for every course :) travelling with DH on another QF Sydney to LAX...

Hi The night before I travel, QF has cancelled my QF flight and rebooked me on Air New Zealand. I assume I will lose the double status credit for this flight as it was for QF flights on QF metal. Does anyone know what happens in this circumstance? Not happy :( Thanks

A colleague of mine was once served a nice Y meal on a domestic QF flight. However, when he unwrapped it there was a fly buzzing around inside. He did receive a couple of bottles of wine and a $50 voucher for the uuuurrrggghh moment though :)
