I feel for people who need Business class to get a proper sleep on a trans-pac flight (or the long leg from europe back to australia). The overnight schedule is perfect and easy to see why it is so popular.

Just want to clarify on sniip. Say you have a bill for $1000, will they charge your card $1015 so you get points on the surcharge too? Then $1000 is bpay'd to the bill issuer?

Not sure if you've booked yet or not. If you don't have to be in any particular city on any particular date, I would travel the same direction as the sun around the globe where possible. It reduces jetlag, any long flight will be overnight (take off in the evening, land in the morning)...
