I've done worse, but in small increments. I had a amex edge linked to the charge card. I managed to bpay 5k to 7k and spend the said amount and wait for the balance to correct it self, but I never went into positive balance more than by 2k. Managed to spend 27k with a 9k limit on that card over...

Most likely if you hold both cards, all points will automatically become ascent premium. Whether not the points double or not depends on if received letter amex specifically stated that your point balance will double or not. If you don't have such letter, then it's highly unlikely you will get...

what's this International Airline Program – Platinum Card Member Benefit flashing on the amex travel website today? I googled it and it seemed to be only USA centric amex card will get this type of benefit... Is it a glitch or is some form of feature yet to be announced?

I tried to book fine hotel and resorts and realized they have removed most of the hotels off their list for gold coast. Not a good change for amex platinum :(

Pretty sure post office dragons are trained to deny you the pleasure of spending those cards. Even the machine want you to have a human to validate signature from what I read. Good luck to all.

Yes it might help. Westpac is bad at giving out free credit cards.

You can have 5 amex card if one of them is westpac. I current hold charge, reserve, explorer and edge as well. Don't have any business cards.

Maybe, but you would need to have an impressive income to take on 30k credit limit.
