Genrally when booking a multi class airfare, Qantas do the Y/PE or J/F combo's only. You would have to probably book through a TA/Ring Qantas to build that airfare, and it would most likely be the combination of the price of a J fare BNE-SYD + a PE fare to LHR.

No different at Sydney either. To fly Jetstar + use the QP, you have to clear security and go between terminals 2 and 3.

As you booked the flight through BA, you are essentially a BA passenger who happens to be flying on QF metal, and it is up to BA to (pay???) QF for the Q-eat service which could (potentially) cost QF more to produce. IMHO, I would much rather just fly a QF codeshare with Emirates to Europe, but...

I've noticed something else as well. Not sure if it's the light or what, but are those signs in Pink and not Red? Haven't seen that before when boarding.
