Upto 400,000 bonus points with Citi Prestige

Good Job! Given that the minimum credit limit is $30k. Not many people can be approved of such limit in total, let on one card.

Credit Card Churning May Get More Difficult.

That card was indeed, my oldest card with 15k limit. I had it for 4 years. Of all the other 15k cards I had, NAB, ANZ didn't drop my score much when it was cancelled. even cancelling the 8k go mastercard (silly cough, i know) didn't do anything to my credit score. ALl those cards I have had only...

Credit Card Churning May Get More Difficult.

I remembered when I cancelled my free for life Citibank Card with 15k limit - it was frankly useless card - my credit score dropped from 734 to 630 within a month. This is a card I had for 4 years. My guess is that by lowering my maximum credit limit, it had impacted on the score. Has it...

Credit Card Churning May Get More Difficult.

Credit scores is irrelevant if your income is high enough. Generally it drops a little bit when you cancel a card with large credit limit, but it soon rebounds back eventually.

Dunno, citibank has a habit of devaluing their point. Looked what happened to conversion rate to various airline in the last 2 to 3 years.

Upto 400,000 bonus points with Citi Prestige

this would mean that one can only hold 1-2 types of citibank cards at once. I find it was easier to get approval for citcards if my kept my credit limit <15% of yearly income.

Upto 400,000 bonus points with Citi Prestige

based on what I read, Citi isn't exactly the best in telling what eligible spend or not. Citi cards also has a huge problem of counting eligible spend. Someone in the old virgin highflyer thread mentioned that anything you spend within 6-7 days of your statement dates sometimes won't post from...

    Woolworths gift card thread

Wouldn't be practical to swipe $100 a time in the local AP, assuming the dragon allow you to do that. Other payment processors are either in shut down mode or not signing up to new customers. Unless someone has found a way to load those cards into eftpos..

    Woolworths gift card thread

Weird, after buying 40+ of those cards from just one woolies, there's like 40-50 left in one of my local qld store. Maybe the trick is to go to stores with mutliple of those machines with a stressed out manger and short staffed? :P Its true that previous mentioned methods works and staff at...

Westpac Altitude/Qantas Platinum Visa/AMEX no annual fee up to 90k points

Maybe the name on the QFF don't match what they have on the profile. You may have to include any middle name that is declared on your QFF profile. Like westpac have to register Timmy T Lee, not Timmy Lee if the person's QFF Profile is Timmy Lee.

    The two credit card rule

Maybe you hit your credit limit. Drop down the limit on the existing cards by 3k-6k, then reapply in 3 months time for a 3k limit card. Its fun to roll with 4 amex + a charge card here.
