Remember you're just looking at a seat map there. Some people (unbelievably) don't choose their seats before they fly and are only allocated at the airport when they check in.

I like the practicality of the idea, but then Red Roo wouldn't get an overall picture and consensus on different topics. Yes reading through more threads means more work for them but it also gives them better insight IMO.

Re: QF Introduces Upgrade Bidding There has in the past been complaints from AFF that there are empty seats in business, sometimes many. It may be a matter of looking at loads and picking flights where there is generally a light J load and these upgrade bids could fill those seats for decent value.
