Yep ANZ are a joke. I think they’re actually targeting people who are likely to default on this card, or at least pay them a lot of interest. The minute it becomes obviously one is a fairly wealthy, high income earner they get very difficult.

I’ve booked a CAI-JNB-CPT to join two Singapore awards (SYD-CDG and then CPT-SYD). Less than $1000 in business class (the JNB-CPT alone is often about $4-500). Only issue is flying Egypt Air… but it’s overnight anyway. There are some good deals to be had.
