I have no problem with this far-fetched idea. So long as my daughter flies for 25% of the fare, as she only weighs 25% of an average adult (whatever that may be). But by this rationale, we should be paying for our luggage by the kilo too. It would make everybody pack light, that's for sure...

We've booked 3 x PE in one go SYD-LAX for this December. But you had to be quick, our initial day chosen "sold out" before I got to the end of the booking process.

Codeshares are a different story. I had to chase mine and Mrs VC, but Miss VCs points were in a few days after the flight.

There's a good shooting platform at Mrs Macquaries Chair. If EK is above and to the right of QF I think the money shot is going to be the two aircraft heading East, framed by the SHB and Opera House. From that vantage point, though, it's still quite close. Way too close to use my 70-300 zoom...

I'm about to head out to Mrs Macquaries Chair for a recce. It seemed to be the best spot to get both the bridge and Opera House in shot. Fort Denison ferries don't start until 1030. That spire in the foreground of Shellthoms roof is a bit of an annoyance, maybe a short ladder would fix that...
