No it's a Plat Charge Supp and it does look different to my Primary card. My primary card has a black border and chip. The Supp has no border just a vertical line to the right and the wording Platinum. Does it say anywhere(ie AMEX or Virgin terms of entry) that Supp cards should be accepted?

Just got a text from Vodafone saying that from July 25 surcharge using Amex will increase from 1%+GST to 2.15%+GST. Seems pretty outrageous to me - not sure who to be p**sed off with more Amex or Vodafone!

This will be difficult when travelling with spouse who is a supp card holder(and flying Virgin). I suppose they will be counted as a "guest" and not permitted entry. So that in effect is a "No" for the couple!

I suppose most spouses would be supplementary card holders, so I'm presuming that a spouse who is a supplementary card holder is OK.
