does anyone know which route the new CX j operate on? is it only SYD-HKG?

a bit off topic, but QF has a sale on J fare starting in PEK. from memory, it was return PEK-BNE/SYD/MEL for about $3600.. only catch is you have to start in PEK.. works very well for me as i travel to china all the time so all i have to do is just a one way JASA to PEK, and then keep doing...

it is interesting you say that. I have used 3 different QFF numbers on Expertflyer seat maps, just to see the differences for seat pre-selection. the difference between gold and silver from memory wasn't that big. but for Platinums they can basically select to sit whereever they like.
